What will my child learn in the Beausejour Skating Club Programs?

All Beausejour Skating Club programs are taught by Nationally Certified Skate Canada Coaches who are assisted by trained Program Assistants.

CanSkate is Skate Canada's flagship learn-to-skate program for beginners of all ages and teaches 3 fundamental areas -balance, control and agility. The program is set up in 6 stages and emphasizes fun and continuous movement. These skills are taught in a group lesson format. You know your child is ready for CanSkate if they can comfortably separate from their parent to be on the ice and can follow basic instructions.

STARSkate offers opportunities for skaters to develop fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. This program develops skating skills in group and private sessions and provides opportunities for competition at various levels.

No matter what sport your child chooses the Beausejour Skating Club programs can set them up for success!
